Anonymous asked: So I've been meaning to give myself a s-n-poke for a while but haven't been able to psyche myself up for it. A friend of mine who's good at them offered to do it for me, but before he does I was wondering if you could compare the pain to other things? I'm just trying to figure out what you expect. Thanks!

Anonymous asked: the best thing about this blog is that every photo isn't accompanied by long, detailed, lame descriptions about the "meaning" behind my stick n poke and why it's so "important" to me. nice.

vinylpanx asked: re: white ink... actually, white ink tattoos will glow a kind of red under a black light. But the point is, the white ink should still be visible under normal light in the way white tattoos are.

goingbacktothin asked: I tried three times today to get my white ink to work. I started on the bottom of my big toe. Then the side of my foot twice. But none of them show up under my black light at all. I can tell I'm poking in, and I'm not making it bleed. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I need help. :( I am using a sewing needle and white tattoo ink I got off line. Please help. I was really excited...

Anonymous asked: I don't know if I'm crazy or what. But I did my stick n' poke with liquid eyeliner. It's not toxic as it's used around the eyes with intent that every now and then it will enter your eyes. Liquids that enter your eyes travel to your bloodstream extremely quickly. Therefore liquid eyeliner is safe to enter the body. Just gonna see how long it lasts :)

here are my stick n’ pokes. I did both of them myself, they didn’t hurt really at all, I used sewing needles and india ink.  the deathly hallows symbol to commemorate the 10 years Harry Potter has been in my life, and an empty Alkaline Trio heart, because I love trio.

bad teenage decisions.jpeg This little sucker of a poke and stick took me forever. Willingly stabbing yourself is hard. Depending on how it heals, I may or may not add an eye in the center. Probably not. I’m okay with an antiTriforce piece, though. Used india ink and sterilized pushpins.
